M/V Voyager
The Voyager, our 46ft, 30 passenger catamaran is specially designed for passenger service; offering exclusive departures for groups for glacier and wildlife cruises customized to each group’s priorities -always with an emphasis on education and environment. Cruise options range from 4.5, 6 or 8-hour adventures. With the bow landing capabilities beach walks or short rain forest hikes can be added to all departures.
The Voyager is perfect for small private groups, family reunions, photo groups, business
incentive groups with a minimum of 15 and up to 30 passengers. If your group is smaller
than 15 we can open for general sales for others to join the cruise to meet the minimum or
it can be booked and paid for an exclusive.
This fast, stable catamaran is perfect for transportation options to any community or lodge in Prince William Sound. Transportation between Whittier and Valdez is a three-and-a-half-hour trip directly across or a glacier visit can be included in route for a six-hour
cruise. Onboard storage can accommodate luggage and supplies for group transport. Lazy Otter will also be offering Marine Explorer Adventures that includes educational elements to the cruise, including plankton tow, marine mammal habitat, glaciation, and water salinity experiments. This is a hands-on, excursion perfect for school science class field trips, scouting groups, and anyone wanting to add fun education to their travel experiences.
