We are not “tour” people. And I get motion sick really easily. So this was a stretch for my husband and me. But I am so glad we did it. The boat was super comfortable, the captain very kind and knowledgeable, and the two other couples friendly. The tour catered to our interests. And although the weather started out foggy, we still saw much more than anticipated — otters, seals, sea lions, a salmon ranch, black bears, puffins and an extended time watching beautiful glaciers calve. A walk on a deserted beach was interesting, as I saw a sea star for the first time.…
