I was in Alaska on business for a bout a week. I work and live at a major ski resort in the Colorado high country. One of the group activities we decided to do was a glacier tour of Prince William Sound with Lazy Otter Charters. During the week I spent in Alaska, this was certainly a highlight. Our Captain Tom and First Mate Joanna (sp?) were incredibly knowledgeable of the area we were viewing and made for a very hospitable voyage. There were snacks and drinks served on the boat as well. We viewed numerous glaciers, hiked to one and saw wildlife including numerous bald eagles, harbor seals and a bear! Whittier itself was a trip as we had to enter through a two and a half mile train tunnel. Overall the experience was quite enjoyable and as someone who works in Hospitality I would most definitely recommend Lazy Otter!
