Lazy Otter Charters, Inc. is a family owned and operated charter and water taxi operation harbored in Whittier, Alaska. Captain Mike Bender has been operating Lazy Otter Charters Inc in Prince William Sound since 1994 offering renowned reliability and customer service. Our extensive experience throughout Prince William Sound includes water taxi, custom sightseeing, small freight hauling and photo and film support. Our fleet includes three vessels of varied size (listed below) and all of our Captains hold 100 ton US Coast Guard licenses.

OUR FLEET
QAYAQ CHIEF
40ft x 14ft, Landing Craft – 22 passenger
For kayak groups the QC has capacity for up to 18 passengers and associated kayaks. This vessel is perfect for small freight hauls and is especially nice for film and photo shoots. The bow door can be lowered to provide water level shots.
HIGH VELOCITY
31ft x 11ft, Landing Craft – 6 passenger
The High Velocity is a 31-foot landing craft vessel able to carry six passengers and six kayaks comfortably, and is a favorite way to treat a family or small group to a custom tour and special day exploring Prince William Sound. It is also an excellent vessel for freight hauling or small hunting charters.
VOYAGER
36ft Landing Craft -30 passenger
The M/V Voyager is a 46-foot catamaran specially designed to carry up to 30 passengers for custom sightseeing for small groups. The size of the vessel is perfect for intimate group voyages for active adventures, multi-generational family reunion trips, incentive excursions or transport between Whittier and Valdez.
